Susan Neidlinger

Susan Ilene Brod, was born in Virginia and peacefully passed away in her home on August 19, 2009. Walking down the road of yesterdays, thoughts of a remarkable and vibrant woman quietly play in the minds of those who knew and loved her.

Through these thoughts, Susan Neidlinger is remembered and honored. Susan was a mother extraordinaire to her daughters, Sheina and Hannah; her adopted daughters, KC, Val; her adopted grandson, Wes, and the many "kids" who became a part of her family. Susan was the daughter of Harry and Fay Brod who preceded in her passing from this life. Susan was a fighter, overcoming obstacles few could manage; friends and family have described her as beautiful, amazing, hilarious, vibrant, wonderful, giving, and compassionate.

During the space of time that was her life, Susan lived in Charlotte and Indianapolis. Her love of Judaism was unwavering as was her love of her family and life. Strong-willed, she epitomized a gentle and generous spirit and was the embodiment of all that was good in the world. Susan will live on through her daughters and grandson; her spirit will softly blanket the hearts and souls of those who knew and cherished her.

Mom, Bubbe, Susan you will be missed, you will always be loved.
